These versatile cashmere scarves can be worn as many ways as you can imagine, and are the perfect accessory for layering on cold evenings. Cashmere is made from the finest, softest part of a goat's undercoat. Not only is it a delicate, much sought-after fabric with a uniquely soft feel against your skin, it's also up to eight times more insulating than standard wool.

These cashmere scarves are handmade with great care on traditional looms — one more reason this luxurious material never goes out of style. They're timeless accessories that make great gifts.

Most importantly, they also come with a poignant, empowering story that you can feel good about:

Our 100% cashmere scarves are handmade in Nepal by local residents who are blind, deaf, or otherwise disabled. Nepalese society has discriminated against the handicapped, leaving them little or no opportunities for work. Weaving gives these women and men a sense of independence and self-esteem, and your purchase gives their families some much-needed financial support that's very hard to come by in these communities.

  • Material: 100% hand-loomed Himalayan cashmere
  • Measurements: Approximately 27" x 79"
  • Details: Edges finished with small fringe
  • Color: Blue + White
  • Care: Dry clean or hand-wash cold and lay flat to dry.
  • Handmade with love in Nepal.
  • Because these scarves are handmade in Nepal with love, each is one of a kind. Slight variations in colors and pattern are part of their completely unique identity as authentically handmade items.

Along with providing help to dedicated Nepalese craftspeople with few other options, your purchase also helps support SeaLegacy, combining decades of experience in conservation, photography, and communications to build a healthy future for our oceans.
