This Beastly Threads organic cotton voile scarf was designed in Brooklyn and then hand block printed using nontoxic dyes by a group of artisans in Bagru, India. The printed fabric was then cut and sewn by a small sewing shop here in the USA. Made with ethical, green practices that are kind to workers and the environment.
This scarf is inspired by the Cerulean Warbler, a beautiful sky-blue bird, which has experienced the greatest drop in population of all of the warbler birds thanks to habitat destruction and global warming. Your scarf purchase will support the efforts of theAmerican Bird Conservancy, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to conserve native birdsand their habitats throughout the Americas.
Scarf measures 28 x 86 inches (or so). Use as a scarf, a beach cover-up, a table runner, or however you see fit! Gorgeous blues look great on everybody!
Please notethat this scarf was printed by hand, so colors may vary and little imperfections should be expected.
Care: Softens with each wash. Hand wash or machine wash in cold water. Gentle dry. To make your scarf a bit softer, add eco fabric softener. No bleach. Iron if desired.
Proceeds: The manufacturers of this scarf give $10 to the American Bird Conservancy for each scarf sold. In addition, Seeds for Kindness donates proceeds to SeaLegacy.
"I'm drawn to this scarf because of the beautiful blue shades that work for all seasons. The quality is stunning, the size is glorious, and the cotton is luxurious. I love that it can be used as a scarf, a sarong, a table cloth, and more. The fact that it also supports birds is an added benefit that I find irresistible, because I love birds! I would love to get a glimpse of the Cerulean Warbler." - Leslie.
